Coping with DENIAL

I Love You Parties do not need to be a surprise to your committed friend. Many times, friends find themselves announcing that one is coming soon when their buddy is nearing the dark side. A common problem that friends face is the expected "shut up guys we're not there yet" or "you guys don't know what you're talking about."

Friends should not be surprised by this reaction --- let's face it --- we're the first to start celebrating something that was once implied or said in private. What you're experiencing is no other than the classic stages of DENIAL.

HOW DO I COMBAT THIS?
The best solution for this is to put it in perspective to your committed fellow:
1) Does someone who drinks 3-4 nights a week consider themselves an alcoholic? No, but you know they are.
2) Is someone that spents 10-15 hours a day in front of a computer, addicted? Yes, but will they not admit it?

So if you spend 10-15 hours with your girlfriend and sleep with her 3-4 nights a week, are you not about to say I Love You? EXACTLY.

Your friend will soon see that the I Love You Party is definitely needed.
